Gunnar Wise

About

I'm Gunnar Wise, a student at ASU working towards a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. I grew up in Fountain Hills, Arizona, loving to learn about all the new technologies which eventually led to knowing what computer science was, where I immediately knew what I wanted to do in college.

In my free time, I love climbing, swimming, and going to the gym. I also love to spend time learning new things about anything I can.

Rock Climbing

When I found rock climbing in 2023, I fell in love with it, I have been climbing so much since then. Climbing is currently one of my biggest hobbies.

Taekwando

While going through most sports, Taekwondo was the one sport that I stayed in for over 8 years. I earned my 2nd-degree black belt, while also learning other martial arts like jiu-jitsu, PTK, and hapkido.

Swimming

Swimming has been a huge part of my life, I found out how fun it was in the start of highschool, and ended up going to multiple state and sectional championships in high school and club swimming.

My Projects

Crossy Street

This project was programmed with C# with Unity 3D. It is a remake of the popular game Crossy Road.

Autonomous LEGO Car

This was for my Intro to Engineering class at ASU, where my group members and I worked together to build a LEGO EV3 car, then we made algorithms in MATLAB to solve a maze by itself.

Youtube Data Aggregator

This project uses the YouTube Data API in order to grab the data from a given YouTube channel, then parse through the file and output the preferred statistics.
